Festivals, fairs, gardens, animals, peaceful grounds and commitment to Public Waldorf education and sustainability all help make DMS a vibrant community. These things can only be maintained if everyone takes responsibility for supporting what benefits us all.
If you are seeking other suggestions about where you can best support the school, please contact the Parent Council “Hands” leads, your class parent or your child’s teacher. There will always be something that works with your schedule and interests. The major areas that rely on community support in order to thrive are: Community Work Days, Parent Council, Winter Faire, Spring Brunch, Animal Care, Garden, Campus Maintenance & Beautification, Community Fundraising and drivers for field trips.
For Animal Care (training required – Contact Michelle Kratzer)
For Gardening – Contact Bobi Harshfield
