Our garden is a vital part of the community of Desert Marigold. It is one of our greatest teachers. But without the support of the community, our kids will not be able to fully enjoy and take advantage of the lessons the garden has to offer. This is where we parents, grandparents and community members come in. All hands are welcome and needed!
The attached flyer is a great way to remember all the special days set aside to come together and give the garden the much needed love it needs to thrive. Print it and hang it on the refrigerator.
Second Saturday Garden Work Days
The second Saturday of every month is set aside as the day to get our hands in the dirt and help Ms Bobi 7am-12pm.
Thursday Garden Dig-In Days
Each class sponsors 3 days throughout the year, but everyone is always welcome to join in on the Thursday evening fun from 3:30 to dusk. This is a great opportunity for the community to come together to socialize, maybe share a snack and support our beautiful garden.
Monday and Thursday Morning Drop-In
The garden is open every Monday and Thursday morning for parents to drop in.
Saturday Community Work Days sponsored by Parent Council
Three times a year, we come together as a community and work around the the entire campus doing improvements, fixes, painting, gardening, animal care and so much more!
Just a reminder that children must be supervised by an adult while in the garden.
Your time and energy in the garden is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
