Lady Spring and her Maidens

There is magic in the air here at Desert Marigold! It is the season for Lady Spring to take her turn to reign over King Winter. The campus received a special visit from Lady Spring and her maidens this past Tuesday morning. Lady Spring and her maidens fluttered about the campus dressed in beautiful flowing gowns and floral crowns. They kindly and gently ushered in spring. Lady Spring and her maidens were seen and heard as they lovingly shared gifts of flowers and music to the children, teachers, administration, and visitors at Desert Marigold. The children’s eyes widened, and they began to whisper and watch in awe and wonder.

Spring is coming, spring is coming,
birdies build your nests.
Weave together straw and feather,
doing each your best.
Spring is coming spring is coming,
flowers are waking too.
Daisies, lilies, daffodils,
all are coming through.

Spring is coming, Spring is coming,
all around is fair.
Shiver, quiver, on the river
joy is everywhere!

Desert Marigold will be closed for the remainder of the 19/20 school year as we evaluate the ongoing developments of COVID-19 {read more}
