Illness is a reality within every school. However, working together we can help minimize class time lost.

It’s best to keep your child at home if they have a temperature at or above 100.4°F. Wait at least 24 hours after the fever has come down and stabilized without medication to consider sending your child back to school.

Vomiting and Diarrhea
Your child must stay home if he/she has symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. The same should apply to a rash, discharge from the eyes or nose. Wait at least 24 hours after the symptoms have disappeared before returning to school.

If your child has a communicable illness, notify the school immediately so that we may inform others.

Below please find a list of common illnesses that occur in school age children. If your student is exposed to any of these illnesses, the school office will send you an email and the link of the health notice to better understand the symptoms, treatment and length of time required out of school if applicable.

Please remember that premature return can spread illness.

For diagnosis or treatment consult your health care provider.
