Carpool to DMS

There is a private Desert Marigold Carpool Facebook group to assist parents in making arrangements. Please like the group first and then request to join the group. As a commuter charter school, DMS supports carpooling and will make every effort to support families in developing car pools. Our goal is to reduce the number of cars coming onto our campus as much as possible. The benefits of doing this are tremendous: less stress for families; stronger community connections; less pollution; and improved relations with our neighbors. We ask that everyone make a concerted effort to carpool with at least one other family.

All your carpool driver info is gathered during the enrollment processes. One-time deviation from a listed/standard carpool driver should be communicated in writing to the class teacher as the teacher dismisses his/her students daily. If a longer term arrangement is made with someone not on the established list, please go to the office prior to that time and add that driver to your carpool list.

Annual Giving – Roofs & Patios

The sky is the limit, with a roof over head! Thank you for giving to our annual giving fund. Specifically, we need to place a front porch on the 3rd and 4th Grade building, along with a protective roof above the classroom entrances for 5th through 7th grade. Also, replacement roofs are needed for both the 1st-2nd Grade and 5th-7th Grade buildings. These additions and repairs will serve our community for years to come.
