Valley of the Sun Waldorf Education Association

Desert Marigold School is operated by the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Valley of the Sun Waldorf Education Association, Inc. (VSWEA). The Board of Directors of VSWEA is responsible for deciding legal, financial, and policy issues of the school. The Board consists of parents, staff, and other community members. The initial term of office for directors shall be for three years beginning in November regardless of when elected. Thereafter, a director can be renewed yearly for a 1-year term with a total maximum number of 6 years. A director that has served the maximum number of years can be eligible for a new term after a departure of at least one year.  At the regular meeting of the directors held in November and May, directors shall be elected by the Board of Directors.

In compliance with Arizona Open Meeting Law A.R.S. § 38-431.02(A)(1), Valley of the Sun Waldorf Education Association, Inc. dba Desert Marigold School posts meeting notices for all open meetings on the bulletin board outside the front office, on this page of the Desert Marigold School website, and in ParentSquare communications. All regular board meetings will be held pursuant to the schedule below for the applicable academic year at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted on this website.
